先月、僕はこの頃の東京のコンサートを調べたが、何も予約しませんでした。昨日、僕は15日のコンサートを見て、予約しました。

今週は雨が多いですね。僕は雨でハイキングに行きませんでした。普段は自転車で温泉に行きますけど、それも雨で止みました。今日の演奏は午後1時半からでしたので、僕は「その前に温泉に行こう」と思いました。僕がよく通っている温泉なら、行きは1時間かかるし、そこから演奏会ホールに行く事も1時間以上かかります。僕は他の温泉に行こうと思って、10時にアパートを出ました。10時45分に温泉に入りました。雨が降る時の温泉は気持ちがよいですね。その後で、僕は他の駅に向かって、歩きました。途中で、お寿司屋がありましたが、僕は他の予定があったので、入りませんでした。入ればよかったです。

僕は開催の「サントリーホール」行きの電車に乗りました。演奏の前に予備の時間があったので、そこの近くのメキシコ料理のレストランに入りたかったが、定休日でした。僕はコンビニで買ったチーズを立ち食た後で、サントリーホールに入りました。

着物を着ている人も居ました。僕はよいシャツで、ちょうどよい服で来たと思いました。今回、様々な麻布学園で卒業した音楽家が演奏してくれました。79歳の人がピアノを弾いていました。実は、今回の演奏は去年開催するつもりでしたが、合唱もありましたので、それは去年出来なかったという事でした。

最初はかなり最近の曲を演奏してくれました。その後で休憩して、それから第九を演奏しました。僕は二年前に歌ったが、今回は観客として参加しました。本当に印象でした。今回は聴いて、個人的の意味が代わりました。気候温暖化で、大きな課題があります。それは解けないと、人間も亡くなるかもしれません。その歌で、「一緒に頑張りましょう。ある国は地球を汚染し続けると、皆は苦しんでいる」とい意味で聞きました。感動でした。

Last month, I had looked up concerts in Tokyo, but reserved nothing. Yesterday I saw a concert for the 15th, and reserved a seat.

This week, we have much rain, right? I could not go hiking. I often cycle to onsen, but also that was not possible. Today's concert was at 1:30pm, I planned to go to the onsen before that. Going to the onsen I usually go to by train would take more than one hour, also from there to the concert hall would take an hour. So I decided for a different onsen, and left at 10am. At 10:45 I entered the onsen - it's a special feeling to be in the onsen when it's raining, right? Then I walked towards a different train station. On the way, there was a Sushi place - I did not enter as I had different plans for lunch - but I should have gone to this place.

I got on the train towards the concert hall. I had extra reserved spare time to go to a nearby Mexican restaurant which had been recommended to me - but found out they are closed on Sundays. So I got a cheese at a nearby Conbini store, ate that, and entered the concert hall.

There were even people in Kimono. I wore a good shirt, and felt dressed just right. At this concert, musicians who all graduated from the nearby music university played. The man at the piano was 79 years. They actually had planned the event for last year, but as there was also a chorus, they could not do the event last year.

At the start, they played modern pieces. After a break, they played Beethoven's 9th. 2 years ago, I had been singing it myself, this time I was a listener. It was really moving. When I heard it this time, it got a new meaning to me: mankind is in front of new challenges, like climate crisis. If we can't solve it, we might perish from the earth. We are all in this together, and if one country keeps polluting, also all others are affected. This was really moving.
