これを読んでいる皆さんは、人生でやりたいことがありますか。

僕は旧東ドイツで生まれました。子供の頃「いつかアメリカに住みたい」と思いました。でも成長するにつれて、政府がそれを許可しないと気づきました。アメリカは危い所だと思って、その夢を諦めました。 ドイツの統一の前は、「どこで過ごしたい」かという質問に答えるのは簡単でした。

僕は統一の後で学校を卒業して、技能を習って、仕事を探しました。生まれ故郷の周辺で僕の専門の仕事が見つけなかったので、ドイツ全国で探して引越しをしました。 その時は仕事が趣味でした。人生でやりたいことは仕事だけでした。 祖父母と両親が遠くに住んでいるのは、ちょっと不便です。

その後、会社のおかげで初めて日本に行きました。そのため、日本語を学ぶのが趣味になりました。ミュンヘンという大きな町の周辺に住んでいるので、授業を受けられます。 だんだん新しい人生の目標ができました。人生の中で、日本と関わっていきたいと望んでいます。例えば、日本語か日本人か日本の国と関わりたいです。 それからいい人を見つけて、家庭を持ちたいです。富士山にも登りたいです。今年はその夢を実現できたので最高でした。 それから楽器を習いたいです。大阪で一万人と一緒に「第九」を歌いたいです。

皆さんは人生でやりたいことや、住みたい所がありますか。 それから昔持っていた大きな目標は現実になりましたか。

To all readers, do you have things you really want to do in your livespan?

I was born in former east Germany. When I was a child I wanted to go to America. When growing up I understood that the government would not allow this. I also understood that America is a dangerous place, the dream vanished. Before the fall of the wall, the question where I wanted to spend my live did not come up.

After the reunification I graduated, learned work and searched for work. In the area around my birthplace no work for my special field was available, so I searched in whole Germany and moved. At that time work was equal to sparetime interests, this was all I wanted to do. Yet, beeing far away from parents and grandparents was a bit inconvenient.

Later the employer gave me the chance to work in Japan. I got interested in learning Japanese, Munich as big city was offering lessons. Slowly new lifegoals appeared. I want to do more in life with Japan. So, around Japanese or with Japanese people. Finally find someone nice, have a family. Climb Mnt Fuji. This dream came true this year, it was great. I want to learn a music instrument. In Osaka, I would like to sind “ode to the joy” in the chorus of the 10thousend.
